I work with adults who feel caught in anxiety, overthinking, difficult emotions, or recurring relationship patterns. Sometimes you understand what you’re doing but still can’t seem to change it. Other times, you may simply know that something doesn’t feel right, and you’re tired of carrying it alone.
In our work together, we’ll go beyond managing symptoms to understand what may be driving them. We’ll notice the patterns that emerge when difficult feelings arise, explore what those emotions may be communicating, and work toward new ways of relating to yourself and the people around you.
The goal isn’t to turn you into a different person. It’s to help you understand what gets in the way of being more fully yourself, and give you greater freedom to choose how you want to live, feel, and connect.
You may look like you have it all together, while inside you’re exhausted from overthinking, anxiety, or emotions that feel difficult to manage. You might replay conversations in your mind, struggle to say what you really feel, or notice yourself falling into the same painful relationship patterns, even when you know they aren’t working for you. At times, stress may show up in your body, interfere with sleep, or affect your appetite and eating patterns.
You don’t have to keep managing all of this on your own.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, trauma-related concerns, and stress-related physical symptoms. My approach is informed by Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), an active and focused form of therapy that helps us look beneath the symptoms and understand the emotions, internal conflicts, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and engaged. I won’t simply sit back and listen while you try to figure everything out alone. Together, we’ll pay close attention to what is happening for you, both in your everyday life and in the therapy room, so you can better understand yourself, experience emotions more safely, and begin responding in ways that feel healthier and more aligned with the life and relationships you want.
You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong or what you need before reaching out. A free 15-minute consultation is a chance for us to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, answer your questions, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
