I believe therapy is a collaborative and client-centred space where you can slow down and explore what is happening in your thoughts, emotions, body, relationships, and life experiences with curiosity and without judgment.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression and low mood, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, grief and loss, self-criticism and self-esteem concerns, relationship and attachment difficulties, recurring relational patterns, life transitions, and the emotional challenges of immigration and cultural adjustment.

Together, we can explore not only what is happening now, but also the patterns, emotions, needs, and experiences that may be underneath it. I also pay attention to how stress and emotions are experienced in the body, as these signals can offer important information about our inner experience.

My approach is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, body-aware, and individualized. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I tailor our work to your needs, goals, strengths, cultural context, preferences, and pace.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.

My primary therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy. My work is integrative, client-centred, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and body-aware. Depending on each client’s needs, I may also draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, self-compassion, grounding, breath-based regulation, body awareness, gentle body-based practices, and creative or visual exercises.

Rather than applying the same method to every client, I tailor the therapeutic process to the individual. This may involve exploring thoughts and behavioural patterns, working with emotions and recurring relationship patterns, noticing physical sensations and nervous-system responses, or using practical regulation and experiential exercises when appropriate.

My work is grounded in a biopsychosocial-spiritual perspective. I consider the interaction between thoughts, emotions, the body, relationships, culture, life experiences, values, and meaning in understanding each person’s experience.

My goal is to provide a respectful and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship in which clients can better understand themselves, develop greater awareness of their patterns, and explore ways of responding that are more aligned with their individual needs and values.
